Has anyone had the opportunity to use the SLUG RPG, also written by Steffan O'Sullivan, with contribution from Ann Dupuis? I have taken some notes on how I would like to implement it for my games, but it seems like basically no one else on the internet has even heard of it. Unfortunate, because I rather like the system.
I ran into a.description of a SLUG-like game in Gateways Magazine in the late 1980s or early 1990s (roll percentile dice: higher Is better) and tried it once with friends.
More recently, my Fudge games have started moving in the.direction of SLUG due to an emphasis on Story elements in conflicts and a focus on PC narrative and background rather than rated traits.
