Martin, I've only just downloaded this, so obviously I've not had time to give it a thorough testing, but it looks pretty good so far. You might like to know that it displays quite well on my HTC Wildfire (occasionally an issue, due to the screen size) although the base level box does get pushed largely out of sight after a couple of rolls.
Regarding the earlier comment about rolling 3dF, while this might be most common as a house rule there is a published game which uses 3dF as its standard roll, Clinton R. Nixon's The Shadow of Yesterday.

Jack, thanks for the support. There is an option in preferences to change the number of dice.
Are you saying that the displayed controls are too big for the screen on your device? (when there are lines in the history).
Regards, Martin

Yes, I found that. Very handy, although my games generally stick to 4dF. Despite owning a copy I've yet to play The Shadow of Yesterday.

The HTC Wildfire has a 3.2" display of 240 x 320 pixels, which does cause the odd sizing problem with some apps. In the case of your dice roller, opening it up I see "0 Fair" in large type above the "throw 4dF / throw 4dF-4dF" buttons, with two more rows of buttons below that. Then there is the base level, "3 Superb" above the drop-down box for selecting the base level. All fine so far. Without changing any of the settings I click "throw 4dF" and the history line appears at the top of the screen, in this case showing "0 Fair > 3 Superb" above the result "-3 Terrible" and then the three rows of buttons. The display has thus shifted down one small line, but the drop-down for selecting the base level is still visible. Throwing again, the history at the top now contains two lines. Once more, and the history contains three lines, at which point the drop-down base level selection box has started to move off the screen; I can now see just the top half of it. A fourth throw moves it further down, with no text now visible in the drop-down box but it is still there and can be selected. Further throws make no difference as the history only displays four lines. Functionally it's not a major problem, since at no point does the base level selection menu move completely off screen, but it does affect the display and makes it a little harder to use.
It's one of the problems with the Android market, really, since there are so many different handsets out there and many have unique display formats. I expect that anyone using your roller on, say, an HTC Desire wouldn't notice a problem at all.

It's really a question of whether it's worth making changes for a fairly limited number of users. As I say, the program works even with the history pushing things down the screen a little. Not knowing what's involved in adjusting such a thing I can't really make any useful recommendations in terms of changing it, but it's a nice little app regardless.

I have put the source code up on Sourceforge at http://rpgdice.sourceforge.net/. The actual source is in the Git repository.
Downloaded the update last night. Looks good!

I saw a mention of a non-Android die roller?
I'm about to start a Cel-Marris station game on my forum and near as I know only one of my players have Fudge dice, and it isn't me {:0p
I'll get some eventually, I'm sure, but for right now I just need some access to an on-line die roller for me and my players. I don't require anything aside from rolling the 4dF. I trust the players to give me true results, so I don't need logging like 'invisible castle' does.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
